
Computing and Library Policies
THIS COMPUTER WILL RESTART AFTER 10 MINUTES OF INACTIVITY. ALL FILES WILL BE DELETED ON RESTART. SAVE YOUR WORK TO YOUR H DRIVE NOW.
AVOID LOSING WORK.
Save your work to your H drive
Save your work immediately after opening or creating a file.
You MUST choose Save As and choose a location to save your file.
Save your work on your H drive. Failure to do so will result in a loss of work. H drive is also called: UNIX(tiger), tiger drive or WebDisk.
Group Study Computers
Group Study Computers are for collaborative work by groups of two or more people. A group will be given priority and individuals will be asked to relocate. These spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may not be reserved.
Attaching Devices
You may attach your own devices.
Software installation is prohibited.
Modifying or disconnecting library equipment is prohibited.
Food and Drink
Use spillproof containers.
Report spills to library staff.
Dispose of trash in trash cans.
Printing
Retrieve your print jobs from any of the Print Release Stations located on floors one through four. Debitek pay for print card required for printing. Color printing is available with assistance from the staff in the Student Computing Services (SCS) on the first floor.
Software Support
The SCS Lab provides some application support during SCS Lab hours. Library staff may be able to provide limited support for Microsoft Office. All other applications are without support; use at your own risk. The library is not responsible for lost or damaged files.
Cell Phones
Cell phones may be used in the lobbies and stairwells.
Please report any computer issues to service desk personnel. Service desks are located on the second and third floor. Thank you.
