· Government Resources: Business Web Sites - Links to government web sites useful for business information. From the Lippincott Library of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
· NAICS - NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) is a system of industry codes for manufacturing and service industries. Use NAICS in many resources to find industry and competitor information.

· SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) - SIC is the older system of codes for classifying lines of business for U.S. companies. Though the U.S. began using NAICS codes in 1997, some resources continue to be indexed by SIC codes.
· Small Business Administration - The U.S. Small Business Administration, established in 1953, provides financial, technical and management assistance to help Americans start, run, and grow their businesses.
· U.S. Department of Commerce - Extensive collection of information on U.S. exports, developing technologies, statistical data, and economic growth.
