What to look for:

• Is a publication date listed?
• Is the information up-to-date?
  • In some areas (technology, medicine, law...) information can become outdated quickly.
• Are the links well chosen and up-to-date?

Publication date can also refer to the copyright date or the date a resource was last updated.

Be skeptical of resources that do not list any type of publication date.
