Using Online Resources to Identify Books & Articles

Once you have read some background information on your topic, you will be ready to search for books and articles for your project.

  • Use books to identify materials owned by Cook Library as well as other libraries in the University System of Maryland. For assistance in using books, see the "finding books" module.

  • Use online databases to identify articles in journals, magazines, and newspapers. For assistance in using the databases, see the "finding articles" module.
