Citing Web Sources

  • Sources that you use in research papers or projects always need to be cited. The formats for web pages and other electronic sources will be similar to the citation formats for print sources.

Citations for web pages need to include the following information:

  • The URL (Uniform Resource Locator) or web address.
  • The date that you accessed the web page.
  • The date the web page was produced or updated.
