Multimedia Studio & Specialty Software Lab

Cook Library offers a resource center for producing, editing, and viewing multimedia files and documents.

This facility provides special software and equipment for multimedia production. It includes resources for capturing, editing, and producing audio and video content; scoring and arranging music; designing for print and the Web; information analysis; and more.

Macs in the Library! We have 3 Macintosh computers. 2 are 24-inch iMacs and there's a PowerMac featuring a 30-inch Cinema Screen monitor.

Special Software We have several programs to help you create your digital media world. We have easy-to-use applications for the general user and we have powerful, professional applications, including ones used in the College of Fine Arts and Communication courses. Besides multimedia editing software, this is also the place where we will offer specialty software titles that support a variety of disciplines.

Think it, build it, play it! This lab is set up for collaboration. Each computer desk has at least 2 seats so you can share ideas with your friends and classmates. Teach yourself, teach each other! Talking is encouraged!

Location: this lab is located in the Media Resource Center of Cook Library, on the second floor, in room CK 202A.
