A book review (as distinguished from a critical study) is a general evaluation of a work and appears in a newspaper or periodical, usually shortly after a book’s publication. Most of the sources listed below do not print the reviews themselves, but indicate where they may be found. You must know the publication date of a book to find reviews in these sources. If you need help finding reviews, please ask a Reference Librarian for assistance.
This Cook Library Research Guide is offered in PDF or DOC formats and may be viewed, downloaded, or printed for your convenience. For further assistance, please contact a member of the Reference Department.
