    • Need books? Videos? Sound recordings?

The Cook Library Catalog lists all the materials that can be found in the library.

    • Need articles? Want to try some recommended Websites?

Cook Library Subject Gateways - for each academic department and program, Cook Librarians have selected online resources that cover topics in that area of study. So, for example, if you're taking an English course, try the Subject Gateway for English; if you're taking a history course, try the one for History.

In each Subject Gateway, you'll find links to article databases that you can search to find articles on specific topics. Most articles will come from scholarly journals that you might not be able to find or get access to on the regular Web. But, the regular Web does have some good places to look -- and for each Gateway, we've selected some of the best for you to consider.

You'll also find the name and contact information for a librarian who is our subject specialist for that department or program.
